Scimago Institution Ranking memotret perguruan tinggi dari performansi riset, produk inovasi dan kontribusi ke masyarakat. Computer Science ITS dinilai sebagai institusi terbaik di Indonesia tahun 2021.
Seperti terlihat pada gambar diatas, peringkat 1 Computer Science di Indonesia adalah ITS, diikuti oleh ITB, UI, Binus, TEL-U dan UGM.
Computer Science meliputi beberapa departemen di ITS yaitu Teknik Komputer, Informatika, Sistem Informasi, Teknologi Informasi. Departemen tersebut berada didalam Fakuktas Electics (Faculty of Intelligent Electrical Engineering and Informatics).
