Jika anda menginstall ubuntu di atas windows 7 dengan menggunakan VMware. Anda bisa memiliki sebuah folder yang bisa dipakai bersama, baik ketika jalan di windows maupun ketika berpindah ke ubuntu. Kebetulan, saya menggunakan windows 7 professional dan ubuntu 11.10 dalam satu mesin tanpa perlu dual boot.
Bagaimana caranya?
- Pastikan VMware anda sedang tidak digunakan
- Edit VMware, dan buatlah sebuah folder yang selanjutnya akan dipakai bersama (shared). Contoh : D:Data
- Hidupkan ubuntu
- Ketik: sudo vmware-config-tools.pl
- Cari folder anda di /mnt/hgfs
